Hello everyone,
So I've started getting handle son the new HK design. I made it with the idea of getting the most out of 5 1/2" of steel, and tried to make a handle design that would meet some of the feedback from the iris knife. Since most people seem to have issue with the handle shape for this size I tapered the end of this one so that even bigger handed fellas should find it comfortable.
Sorry to be so slow getting these ones done but the holiday season's been hectic as always combined with work's busy season.
Anyway, I haven't come up with name for this one yet, and am open to suggestions, maybe we'll do a poll if there are enough ideas
For now here's some pictures of the first 3.
Black Walnut, 5 1/2" OA, 2" blade, 3/32" 01, , saber grind, brass pin and lanyard hole

HK Pocketmuk EDC: The First
Hello everyone,
This is the first knife in a new series the "HK" series from JK Knives. The H stands for me! he's asked if I can put some handles and sheaths together on a new line, I'm also trying to come up with the design for them, int he mean time he r\produced the first, and so far only, EDC sized version of a popular older JK the pocket muk.
So here it is, dressed in Macadamia nut scales with brass hardware
Macadamia nut wood might be my new "hidden gem" for knife handle wood, here's a link to the Wood Database, one of my favorite places for info on wood (he he) but seriously LINK
It's pretty awesome. Made from 3/32 01 steel, 5 1/2" overall length, with a 2 1/2 cutting edge and, of course, the new collaboration stamp!
Anyway here are some more pictures
Thanks for looking...if you did ;)
